Alexander Volobuev

Director

Alexander Volobuev joined Russia Partners in 2000 and now serves as a Director. Mr. Volobuev’s responsibilities include investments in a wide array of industrial projects. Prior to joining Russia Partners, Mr. Volobuev was an Executive Director for JV Focus, a subsidiary of Rosinter Group, from 1998 to 2000, where he was responsible for overseeing retail and satellite branch operations, and was General Manager for Autokran from 1997 to 1998. Prior to joining Autokran, Mr. Volobuev was the head of the Moscow Office of Thomesto Engineering from 1992 to 1997 and an Executive Sales Manager at Intourtrans from 1988 to 1992.

Mr. Volobuev holds an M.S. with honors in International Economics from the Moscow Institute of Civil Aviation and an Executive M.B.A. from IPO UFSIA.
