Irina Golubkova is an Associate at Russia Partners and joined the Firm in June 2011.  Ms. Golubkova has eight years of financial, consulting and operational experience.  Prior to joining Russia Partners, Ms. Golubkova worked as a Business Consultant for Bluefront Capital LLC, an advisory firm in New York dedicated to providing outsourced financial operations and risk management services.  Previously, Ms. Golubkova was an Associate on the healthcare team at New Markets Venture Partners, a venture capital firm in Maryland.  Prior to her work at New Markets Venture Partners, Ms. Golubkova co-founded and managed Dealex Trans, a logistics company in Belarus.  Ms. Golubkova started her career as an Analyst within the Prudential Supervision Department at the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus.

Ms. Golubkova holds both a B.B.A. and a Ph.D. summa cum laude in International Economics from the Belarusian State University and an M.B.A. from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship.  Ms. Golubkova is currently a Level II Chartered Financial Analyst candidate.
